Frictionless hosting & sharing for internally vibe-coded tools
Problem
Non-expert 'vibe coders' inside companies keep building small internal AI tools, but going from localhost to 'coworkers can actually open and log into this thing' is a constant chore: self-hosting on random VPS/Vercel accounts, hand-rolled auth, and manually walking colleagues through access every time.
Opportunity
A one-command deploy target for micro internal apps that handles SSO/team auth, URLs and lifecycle automatically — 'Vercel for internal tools' aimed at AI-assisted builders rather than professional devops.
Market analysis
The localhost-to-team chore is a genuine recurring pain for AI-assisted builders, but all-in-one vibe coding platforms (Base44, Lovable) already bundle hosting and auth, and Cloudflare offers a self-hosted equivalent. The open wedge — bring-your-own-code deploy with automatic SSO — is real but thin.
Market · Non-professional internal builders inside companies; growing fast with vibe coding adoption, though platforms aim to absorb the whole workflow.
Pricing · Vibe platforms run freemium with paid tiers around $16-25/month (Base44 from ~$20/mo, Lovable comparable); a deploy-only tool would need to undercut that.
Pros
- + Sharp, relatable pain repeated across HN threads on vibe-coded internal tools.
- + Narrow scope is MVP-friendly: one CLI, OIDC/SSO passthrough, ephemeral URLs.
- + 'Bring your own code' avoids the lock-in resistance platforms create.
Cons
- − Base44 and Lovable already ship hosting + built-in auth as part of the builder.
- − Selling SSO into companies drags in IT/security review — slow for a solo builder.
- − Micro-app sprawl and lifecycle governance is where the hard, unglamorous work lives.

Deploying is the easy 20% of this product. The moat, if any, is the identity and lifecycle layer: coworker onboarding/offboarding, who can see which micro-app, and what happens to the twenty half-dead tools a team accumulates by next quarter. That is governance work, and it is exactly what makes IT departments nervous about vibe-coded apps in the first place — so the seller ends up being IT even though the user is a non-technical builder. An open-source CLI with a paid hosted control plane is the credible solo path; competing head-on with the platforms on their own bundled feature is not.
