Pool multiple AI model subscriptions into one workspace
Problem
Heavy AI users now juggle multiple paid subscriptions to the same or different models (e.g. two Claude Code plans, plus ChatGPT, plus API keys) with no way to use them together in a single session. A user in r/ClaudeCode explicitly asks for 'a tool that will allow me to manage multiple subscriptions to multiple models' so two Claude subscriptions can be combined on one ongoing coding session, saying AI-suggested options never match what they want.
Opportunity
A subscription-pooling gateway/router that presents multiple model subscriptions (and API keys) as one unified backend: session continuity, automatic switching when limits are hit, and a single client UI. Sits on a real and growing behavior — power users stacking plans as rate-limit insurance.
Market analysis
The stacking behavior is real, but the exact ask — merging two consumer subscriptions into one continuous session — is already served by a free open-source proxy, sits on shaky ToS ground, and LiteLLM-style gateways cover the legitimate API-key version.
Market · Power users stacking $100-200/month plans as rate-limit insurance; small but high-spend niche that grows with agent token consumption.
Pricing · Free OSS dominates (teamclaude, LiteLLM); comparable commercial gateways monetize teams at $20-100+/month, not individuals pooling personal subs.
Pros
- + Genuine, growing behavior: rate limits are the top complaint of heavy agent users.
- + Session-continuity layer (resume the same conversation on a different account) is a concrete, buildable wedge.
Cons
- − teamclaude already pools Claude Max, Codex and API-key accounts with rotation on quota, for free.
- − Consumer subscription pooling almost certainly violates provider ToS — account-ban risk for users kills trust in the product.
- − Anthropic and OpenAI keep raising limits and offering pooled team tiers, shrinking the problem from above.

The product-killing issue is that consumer subscription credentials are OAuth tokens tied to a personal account, and rotating them through a shared proxy is exactly the pattern provider anti-abuse systems look for. The defensible adjacent play is the legitimate version: a personal gateway that unifies API keys and provider credits with session handoff, usage forecasting (“you will hit your 5-hour window at ~14:00”) and graceful model downshift — giving stacked-plan users the insurance they actually want without betting their accounts on ToS-violating pooling.
